Similar to Glen Sather force feeding Sean Avery onto the Rangers roster to provide a spark yet again, I felt like Blueshirt fans needed a blog that brought a little humor and fun back into rooting for the Rangers.
For those of you familiar with my previous blog (here & here), this new venture will not be a clearinghouse for everything Rangers. There will be no blue italics. And don't expect 8-10 posts per day. Heck, I might not even do game recaps. To be honest, I'm not really sure what this blog will ultimately become, but I'm excited to find out.
And that's where you, the Ranger fan, come in. I want to incorporate your passion, energy and downright insanity into this blog. If this is going to work, it needs to be a reflection of the day-to-day struggle of being a Rangers fan. And I don't have to tell you, that struggle is real folks.
Which is why I felt "The Broadway Boozeshirts Blog" is the perfect name for my new little home. God knows we need more than a few cocktails to get through games.
